Dear CanCham Members and community,
It is with mixed feelings that I say goodbye to you all as CanCham’s Executive Director. My five and a half years with CanCham has been an incredible experience during which I was able to do many interesting and impactful things. A few personal highlights were hosting six massive Terry Fox Run Vietnams, receiving Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in HCMC, launching the Global Challenges program connecting Canadian university students with Vietnam, and giving back to those in need with the Rice for Life program. However, it is the people I met and the Chamber’s far-reaching potential that will always stand tallest in my memory. I’ve often said that members make a Chamber and CanCham’s community is filled with more than enough inspiring and innovative people to lead it into a very bright future. I am a true believer in the Chamber and its mission, and I look forward to watching CanCham’s next chapter unfold.
With this in mind, I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you all - members and community - to reach out to my successor and CanCham’s new Executive Director, Zach, in the coming weeks. He is a great guy whose tenure I expect will carry CanCham forward into an exciting future.
