The office plays a key role in facilitating business development through trade promotion, providing market insights, building strategic relationships across governments and industries in the region, and attracting foreign direct investment into the province. Key sectors for trade and investment promotion include energy, agri-food, technology, tourism, and manufacturing. In 2024, Alberta’s exports to Singapore reached CA$661.8 million, highlighting its role as a strategic gateway to the Indo-Pacific.
