POSITION SUMMARY
The firm seeks a motivated and accomplished Associate for its Dispute Resolution Department. This key individual will report directly to the Director
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing dispute resolution cases.
Conduct thorough case analysis, research, and preparation of legal documents.
Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on dispute resolution strategies, potential risks, and legal implications.
Collaborate with team members to formulate effective legal strategies.
Act as a point of contact for clients, maintaining strong professional relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
Keep clients informed about case developments and legal proceedings.
Draft, review, and edit legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
Ensure all documentation complies with relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law to support case strategy.
Provide analytical responses to legal queries and contribute to the development of legal arguments.
Collaborate with internal legal teams and external parties
Work closely with colleagues to share insights, knowledge, and best practices.
Stay updated on changes in laws, regulations, and industry trends related to dispute resolution.
Attend relevant seminars, workshops, and training sessions to enhance professional development.
Assist in administrative tasks related to case management, including billing, document organization, and maintaining accurate records.
Assist with other assignments from Management from time to time.
Qualifications:
This opportunity would suit a diligent and career-focused lawyer who wants to deal with a high-quality caseload for global clients. In addition to having enough practical experience to sufficiently carry out the foregoing key responsibilities, you must have:
Vietnamese citizen
A Vietnam lawyer license.
Three to five years of post-qualification experience in dispute resolution. Lawyers with experience in more than one jurisdiction will be accorded preference.
Fluency in English and excellent English writing skills.
Excellent analytical, drafting, communication, and research skills.
Excellent problem-solving ability.
Strong commitment to client service.
Proven record of success in identifying and capturing new business opportunities in the legal field.
Ability to handle cases independently from beginning until completion.
Strong case, client, and team management skills.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to work remotely as you will have opportunities to be seconded to offices of the firm’s clients when needed.
