[Member News] Member Success Spotlight - EDC and VinaCapital signed MoU

We are proud to celebrate two of our CanCham members — Export Development Canada - Exportation et développement Canada (EDC) and VinaCapital Fund Management — for signing a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand Canada–Vietnam trade and investment ties.

 This partnership will:

- Unlock new opportunities for Canadian and Vietnamese businesses in infrastructure, energy, retail, healthcare, and financial services.

- Support Canadian companies entering or growing in Vietnam with VinaCapital’s local expertise and EDC’s global reach.

- Strengthen Canada–Vietnam economic ties, which have already grown from CA$6.5B in 2018 to CA$15.7B in 2024.

- Promote sustainable growth through a shared commitment to ESG practices.
